It's incredibly Sturdy! I Have 2 Tuxedo cats who are younger. 1 is a younger kitten and one us just over 1 years old. They are incredibly energetic and they go nuts and run up and down and all over this. I bought multiple pieces and put them together in my own configuration. You will need a stud finder, a drill and some knowledge about how to use these items. The company that makes the products has very very useful how to videos on their website. They also have incredibly friendly and helpful customer support staff. I had to buy planks from a local hardware store to make sure this didn't come off the wall as a sort of extra support as my studs aren't placed normally and the set up for this set for the normal spacing of them. But if you can take the time to install this your cats will love you. Also any wall tower system out there is going to need elbow grease and effort to install and extra equipment. This company goes above and beyond. They provided easy to follow instructions with how things work and go together and provide the drill bits and amazing high quality cat nip to introduce your cats to the wall tower. My cats couldn't resist the cat nip they included and were all over the cat nip while I was installing it and I had to tuck it away for when I completed it.Handles the bounce of or 10 pound ball of floof! No sagging and looks really cool on the wall.Very good and sturdy material...strong bamboo. The canvas parts are heavy duty and also sturdy. Very simple set up with good quality hardware, to include drill bit(s) necessary to install. I was able to install two units by myself in no time. The longest part of the set up is finding the studs and trying to get the perfect level. It even has some extras in case you lose something. It also comes with levels to perfectly align th mounts. The wall protectors are very awesome, not only to protect the wall from damage, but also to perfectly align the locations of the mounts. I am super impressed how they thought of everything to make their product the easiest to install, and strong enough to hold even the fattest cats. I highly recommend this product, and anything else from this company. My cats absolutely love the hanging bridges.This was the most solid piece that I bought from this company. It was well constructed and hangs sturdy on my wall with no issues. My cats are afraid of the wooden bridge part but I think they’ll get used to it and hopefully learn to love it with enough treats and catnip! The bridge/hammock is a much more high quality piece than the other items I purchased from CatastrophiCreations.... their cat shelves were a waste of money.This bridge is adorable & so well made. Fairly easy to install with simple to follow instructions. One heads up: It's bigger than you think it's going to be! (That's not a bad thing) We looked at the dimensions in the description & my husband is usually really good at spacial placements, but we were still surprised by the size. Our cats took some time to warm up to it. The way it moves made them wary at first, but they're all over it now.It is well put together making it easy to install. My cats love it. I wish I had more wall space in my house. I would have bought another one! Very attractive as well. Well made!This is a really fun place for the cats to hang out. I accidentally ordered the wrong stud size, and their team was amazing in helping me get the right size. Highly recommended for cat lovers with kitties who love to explore!This is a very well-constructed product. It is extremely rare to see something like this. The materials are hard wood and if mounted into a wall stud will support tons of weight.It comes with one large piece of fabric that you cut into the individual hammocks. So it is also possible to cut the fabric to different lengths to create something different from shown in the image.The bridge is obviously handcrafted and seems like it will last forever. My cats enjoy it and I couldn't be happier.The bridge came pine colour when I ordered onyx colour. Quality is good just wish they sent the right one.
