Bought this for my bff who loves M&M and she loves it.I use this on my Nelson Rigg on my motorcycle. She is adorable and , YES, sturdy. I TRIED to break it open one morning when I inadvertently locked my misc motorcycle keys inside the Nelson Rigg (BIG forehead slap). Nope, didn't budge. (Yes, I did get the extra key and opened it again). Can't go wrong with this.Whenever I went on a flight I would use the plastic ties on my luggage knowing that TSA would be able to cut them off with sissors if they wanted to check my luggage, but I always worried that after the ties were removed my things would be unsafe untill I recovered my luggage at the end of the flight. One day a gorilla TSA employee used a metal cutter to cut off the entire metal loop off the zipper of my bag leaving the plastic loop still connected instead of cutting off the plastic tie, ruining my luggage and making it impossible to ever lock again. With the TSA keylock your luggage is opened and relocked. The M&M keylock works easily and every time. It also helps you identify which bag is yours at the luggage carousel.Well that didn't work. I had probably that same TSA gorilla at LAX use his metal cutters to cut the TSA key lock off my luggage instead of using the TSA key, so I bought luggage with a combination lock built into it with the TSA logo imprinted on it for the TSA key. There is nothing to cut off and if I have anymore problems with my luggage and TSA, I'm going to get really mad....now I know why even the pilots hate them.Love itI have all colors of these locks and I love them. They are adorable. The bright colors help me find my bags on the airport carousel. The only downside is that yellow and blue are longer and a little bulky. Orange and green are round and seem to work better. But they all are fine!If you have kids I would add an extra star if I could.I am in my sixties but I have the most fun luggage locks available. Thank you.Functions well, locks easily and is a M&M. What's not to love about this little guy.I liked it, worked at the TSA. Looks cut in my luggage. Material is plastic. My family and I have been using these M&M locks for years. They're easy to use, TSA approved and absolutely adorable!
