This a pretty good cat house. Our cat seems to like it and it was easy to assemble. It did come apart a little bit when we had a storm, but again pretty easy to fix.I read reviews. I didn't believe them. One review said the holes did not line up. FALSE. All of the detent holes lined up and squared the house up perfect. The other review said after rain the house just fell apart. FALSE. It has rained on my house several times...sometimes heavy rain, and between the rains, the sun has come out and dried it off. Then it would rain again, with no problems. The house is just as when I put it together after two weeks of bad cold, warm, wet and dry weather. I would buy it again.It was super easy to assemble, but the wood was not well put together at all and was wobbly. Not happy with it at all. It won’t even keep water out… poorly made. Save your money and buy an iglooI truly have a dislike for 'picture' instructions. Pieces are not really cut to specs so consequently they don't really fit together as they should.I should have read the reviews.This is terrible. It's small. Think, there are gaps in the roof, and I'm pretty sure those slats are made of balsa. I bought this for a feral so she would be warm and safe this winter, but I cannot in good consciousness do that! I will have to put a blanket it over it at the very least, and that defeats the purpose of a nice-looking cat house.So bummed. I hope I can get a refund. Just deeply disappointed. DO NOT BUY.Look at the actual pictures from people. Not folks claiming its perfect.Absolutely worthless. First light rain and I mean "LIGHT" the structure fell apart!! It is mostly glue and flimsy staples with fake cedar planks. Save your money "Crafted from premium solid wood" is an out right LIE. I actually purchased 2 one red one grey so it was not a "fluke" they both fell apart within days of putting together. Take the money but the cat(s) food--they will get more use from it.I bought this for our outdoor cat. The wood is unfinished, porous and thin. It also had several holes in the wood. The whole structure is not sturdy. The only reason I did not return it is because we turned it into a project for my daughter. We caulked the sides, plugged the holes, added nails to the sides to hold the walls up, and had to add several coats of stain to make the house weatherproof. I doubt it is going to hold up outside.Huge gaps in the roof. NOT waterproof/weatherproof, not even close. Not suitable for outdoors. My grammar school child could build a better house in Wood Shop.A COMPLETE PIECE OF JUNK.If you care about your outdoor cat, stray, feral...don't buy this pile of dirty, thin, cracked junk.
